While I certainly don't want Sam to feel guilty, i do like that they are not taking the simple road of öh it wasn't the real you". What he did has consequences, and the point is Sam did do things, the same as Dean did things in Hell, which while understandable, and forgivable, he did nonetheless. Theres a theme here I think about the bad things we do or are done to us, whatever the reason or circumstance, being things we need to own and integrate into self.

I was also hoping for a Big Gay Dragon tho, a la Merlin, but given that any dragon creature was likely to be less than awesome I thought their alternative was inspired.

Heh, Merlin definitely has the market cornered on big gay dragons! *g*

I think you're right about the theme the show has going, and about how the Winchesters in particular adapt and grow/change. I just hope they carry it out fully, and don't do it in dribs and drabs.

Sam's puppy eyes and earnest looks? LOVED THEM!

We got Sam and Dean! At least mostly! I felt like I could breathe. But, my heart is a little worried cuz usually we get a funny/fuzzy ep right before they rip my heart out, but ya know.

I got a Buffy/Glory flash too! The Mother Of All Evil! ::rubs hands in glee:: This could be fun! :D

I'm hoping you won't get your heart ripped out!! And I loved those puppy eyes and earnest looks, too. Those were really wonderful. It highlights why we all missed 'em so much. :D

ITA that RoboSam doesn't have much to atone for.
It would have been more interesting both in eps 6-1 - 6-11 and now if he DID but IMHO he apologizes to Bobby and then we're done with that.

Hi, I am answering comments late! Sigh.

I did notice that it was a full-bodied, eyes shut, happy squinty hug! And I loved the way Dean put his hand up, so tentative. It's almost like he is afraid to be happy. Oh, my heart.
