*Friday, November 25: Artist and Writer Sign Ups Open

• Holiday Interlude: Great time to work on those art pieces!
• Any time between Now and January 25, you can turn in Early Bird Submissions!

*Wednesday, January 25: Artist Sign Ups Close, Early Bird Submissions Due

Just so I'm sure... If we've confirmed as a writer we can claim on Jan 31? And it's first come first served?

If we've signed up as a writer and there is are that has gone unclaimed, can we sign up for more than one piece? I really did just read over the rules, but I don't remember seeing this! TFYA!

You can't select a piece until February 5th, when the claims open at 10AM Central US time. Then, it will be first come, first serve.
The art post opens a few days early so you can select your piece.
A new post will open for claiming.
After a few days of claiming, we will make a separate post for unclaimed second selections.

We have been sending confirmations, but there's always the chance of a lost email somewhere. We've also gotten a bit backed up lately.
If you have filled out the form, you should be good to go!

wait a minute. how can art already be claimed if I haven't even seen a post yet???

I did what I could to get my story posted. I wanted to add that for some of us (not as html inclined) this was SUPER difficult to accomplish. I wonder if maybe there would be a better way to get the stuff posted next year?

It's alright. We appreciate your hard work. We've gone ahead and posted for you. We'll be making some changes for next year and we'll be keeping in this mind. We understand html coding can be difficult, so we'll try to make posting easier. Thank you for participating in this challenge!
