Aw, I'm sorry about your kitty. It doesn't matter how old a pet is, it is still very sad when they leave.

And sorry about the TV! lol! We need to befriend some beefy strong men that enjoy lifting heavy things!

I haven't been do the Science Center in forever...I remember going when they had a Movie Special Effects presentation. They had the load-lifter from Aliens and the Queen...good times. I did hit up the Science Center in Boston and that had lots of hands on stuff. Honestly, they need more stuff like that for grown-ups! We want to play too, not just stare at the naked Neanderthals!

It's been a compound issue the last couple of years. There was a period of my life where I and my parents took in a lot of animals. Now, 15-20 years later, it has meant a fair amount of loss. Not quite all at once or anything, but more one after the other like they arrived. It's just making me feel kinda old. -_ ( ... )

/icon love =) You always know how to get me to smile. ((hugs))

I think Sonja was the last kitty I had that you knew. =( Can't remember if we had Buster yet at that point, but I know any of the others would have been after you left for CA. It's making me feel old. /sigh

I so wish I could actually wear that shirt into work. heh I loves it muchly. ^_^

I need to call you and catch up soon... I know I've been terrible at posting here. The last few months of not really having much time off from work has kept me from a lot of things. meh I know when the weather gets better though, Dave and I want to plan some get-togethers here (there is not much space inside, and this isn't quite deck weather atm) and I so want to get to hang out with you again sometime!

i think she was the last one i knew too. i don't remember which one she was though :(.
i'm all for getting together of course! my man is eager to finally meet you (and yours :P). since he's a gamer, LARPer, geek, etc, i'm sure you'd all have plenty to talk about ;).
i wish you were closer and not working so much! once a month i have a MST3K meetup where we get together and watch a couple episodes. once i get a place (we're doing it at someone else's house- Charles Gilliand, who's a sci-fi author and has also won some Hugos for his illustrations *minor-nerdgasm*), i plan to have it more often and on different days (like a sleep-over thing even).
*sigh*

I may be able to figure something out. I can put in for leave days, but they prefer it to be at least a month ahead of time, and it has to be dates someone else hasn't already claimed. If I miss the dead-line, I can still ask, but I have to try and find my own sub. I need to drop by work at some point this week to ask for days in March as it is, since it would have to be in before Friday. -_-;

How far ahead of time do you know the date? Do you know March and/or April yet?

So sorry to hear about Sonja. ((hugs))

New Year's looks like such fun! So, when *are* you and your RL friends taking over the world? I am most hopeful for the results, knowing you people.

I haven't met romandave but he looks like the sort of person I'd get along with. And I adore your Spoiler Shirt.

edit: The Portal song is an utter delight! I adore it even though I've never played the game. Had it running in 2 windows about 3 seconds out of sync--oh cool!

((hugs)) back

Funny thing is, I wouldn't want the world. =P Too much work. I leave that to Blu_harvest. *cue "If the World Were Mine" music*

You do need to meet Dave. lol If we ever do an anime night that isn't all yaoi, he'd probably be down for that.

I just love Jonathan Coulton and pretty much everything he does. He is a modern-day Bard.
