I like your kinky and dark Hakkai and Hakuryuu here.
I also like the way you had Hakuryuu know something was missign and wrong with him, and how he feels sort of lost and out of sorts, and resents being thought of as a pet. I always kind of wonder in canon how much Hakuryuu knows and understands.
And Hakuryuu being jealous of Gojyo made me smile. Do you have any plans on continuing this and perhaps expanding on the Gojyo/Hakkai/Hakuryuu triangle?
Thank you - this was a bit of a challenge but I did end up liking it. Writing dark!Hakkai is simple. He's a lovely, lovely mess.
I don't have any plans to continue - nor I hadn't, anyway. Although I do have many plans for Hakuryuu. I've got a follow up story to Industry Rule Four Thousand and Eighty, it's the other threesome of... you got it, Hakkai/Hakuryuu/Gojyo.

SWEET. I have really been eagerly awaiting that one!! :D
(I love Hakkai in that, his "am I simply overprotective or a psychopath" question still makes me giggle. And slutty yet oddly faithful Gojyo. And mysterious and protective Hakyuryuu. And... well, everything about it pretty much! ;D )
I love your brand of kink.Hakkai and Hahyuryuu getting busy in the woods was a very interesting kink who knew the dragon wanted hakkai like that. And was jealous of goyjo to boot 0.O
The bloodplay gave me a rough moment or two, but it seems fitting with the darker aspects of Hakkai's nature. I had to take a deep breath and work past it, especially when Hakuryuu started to lick. It was wonderful to see a side brought out of Hakkai that relishes the peace and beauty of nature, though---a counterpoint to the darkness.
Hakuryuu was absolutely fascinating, not human, but not feral either. Very mysterious! I would hate to be Gojyo in that situation. The mystery of his origins and his relationship to the cycles of the moon was particularly nice, as was the moment when he declared that he was not Hakkai's pet. I enjoyed the connection you forged between the two of them.
Yeah - I was concerned about the blood - I should have given the story a clearer warning. Sorry, about that.
What a wonderful comment. I've always been of the opinion that Hakuryuu is the fifth member. I wanted him to have the spotlight at least for a few moments. He's becoming my favorite character to write.
