Those of you who know me, know how I feel about Folk and Fairy Tales. There's a reason I'm beginning with that statement.

That's actually a very cool coincidence. How do you think those unfamiliar with the original story would follow along? I haven't read that story yet, though I was intrigued.

I know! It was the weirdest thing, my book and story both in one day.

I don't think it would matter one whit if you've never read the original story, my lovely Anon spins the tale so well. And it is a *must* for a scene with the Goddess herself - the three of them have a time with her (the 'witch' in the woods.) I laughed like an idiot when I read it.

Ivan/Kenren is so Kenren - in fact all of the characters are unbelievably IC. I can only dream about writing something as good as Firebird. Do check it out.

Thanks - I'm fine - misinterpretations and pissing off people is just a clear sign I need to check out for a while. So I will. :D It's all good.
