She has every reason to be uneasy as she enters the hotel. She looks almost vulnerable with her dark hair in her eyes and her arms crossed over her chest.

"K-9? Where are--" She turns to look for her friend and then frowns. "K-9?"

There's a familiar figure standing at the far end of the room, stopped in the middle of walking to somewhere, but he can't quite remember where. There's a long scarf whose edges pool in front of him, a brown hat tipped forward over his eyebrows.

"Sarah Jane Smith," he says softly to himself, then leans against the wall with a ridiculous grin. "Well, what were you waiting for? 'Until we meet again'--"

She stares a long moment. "...Doctor?"

Sarah approaches some, studying him closer as if to be sure that he's real before she hugs him. "You expect me to believe you planned this?"

"Hello, Sarah," he says fondly. It's been a while.

He straightens, removes himself from the wall, and steps forward into her hug. It's close and warm. "Of course I do," he says cheerfully as she asks. "Whether it's true or not."

"Hello, Doctor."

She closes her eyes, sets her forehead on his shoulder and hides her grin there. "Well, I don't. Don't believe a bit of it. How are you then? Where am I?"

"He's not here, Sarah Jane. Maybe he'll turn up, yeah?"

"...Do I know you?" She studies him in that way of hers. She's a bit more wary now, but more curious than anything.

From the doorway that leads deeper into the hotel, Harry stops and stares. Incredulous and happy.

"Sarah? Sarah Jane Smith?"

"Harry?" She questions, tipping her head before allowing a smile to curl on her lips. "Harry. You're here too then?"

"It's really you..." Pardon him for being a bit shocked. He's been talking about her so much the last few weeks.

"Yes. Yes, I've been here a few weeks."

"It's really me." She assures, stepping closer. "Has something happened? Shouldn't it be?"

"A few weeks." She repeats. "Did you end up here without meaning to as well?"

Nancy is watching over Jamie as he plays in the lobby, and looks up when Sarah Jane enters. She looks lost, so Nancy calls over. "Hullo, you alright?"

"Yes, I think so. I seem to have lost my dog, and I'm not sure how I ended up here, but I think I am alright."

"Dunno how we ended up here either, nobody knows." Because if the Doctor doesn't know the answer, clearly nobody does. "I haven't seen a dog, sorry. Maybe the man at the desk did." She smiles. "At least you're alright though, that's the important thing." She holds out a hand. "I'm Nancy."

"It's all very strange." She agrees. "He'll be about I suppose."

Sarah accepts the hand and shakes it. "Sarah Jane Smith. It's a pleasure, Nancy."

Ianto glances up from where he's sitting at the front desk. "Afternoon," he says with a slight tilt of the head. "Lost a canine?"

Someone in charge. She smiles a bit, graciously and approaches. "I have." She's careful. K-9 is her dog and she won't have anybody trying to take him. No one can find out about him. "I don't suppose he's here though."

"Sorry." He shakes his head. "I don't think I've seen one about. I can keep an eye out?"

"No. No, it's fine." Sarah promises. "Thank you. Where am I, Sir?"
