Voila! Coming into view we have a man in a mask. He has been painted as a villain in the past, along with leading the vanguard for the vox populi. This, my friends, is one V. And so, he'll look around rather curiously -- he could have sworn he was dead a moment ago.

...Well, what's this?

Typist: Um. I didn't want to do all the 'v's. XD

Mickey stares. "Um, it's a hotel." He continues to stare. "What're you wearing that mask for?"

[notguyfawkes]

"So I see." V raises an eyebrow -- but, of course, it's hidden behind the mask. "Perhaps I prefer to remain a mystery. For now, though, you may call me V."

[mickey_theidiot]

"Just V?" Mickey rolls his eyes; he already knows one mysterious man without a proper name, and that's enough for him. Then he remembers something.

"Hang on... V? Hey, she told me about you! Said you blew up Parliament and everything." Mickey grins, nodding appreciatively. "Alright! Except... she thinks you're dead, man."

[notguyfawkes]

That earns a curious headtilt. "--Would this be mademoiselle Evey?" he inquires, then pauses and spreads his hands. "So did I. It would appear I'm more bulletproof than I thought."

"...Oh bloody hell."

And here V lets some wry amusement slide into his voice. "Mr. Finch."

"I've been drinking too much, obviously." He groans.

[notavillain]

"...A hotel." Warren Peace studies him, wondering about the mask. "You some superhero or something?" From anyone else that might come out sarcastic, but from Warren it's an honest question and something that he considers entirely possible.

[notguyfawkes]

"That depends. I am sure some see me as one."

[notavillain]

Okay... "Why the mask?"

[evey_intherain]

She's on her way to her room when she sees the figure, and stands stock still, backing away slowly.

"No. No no no... What the hell are you doing in that mask? Don't you have any respect?" She sounds terrified and angry all at once, thinking that this is just some random person dressing up.

[notguyfawkes]

"Of course I do," he replies, with faint amusement. "Hello, Evey."

[evey_intherain]

"V? But, no! You died!" it's not that she doesn't want him to be here, just that the impossibility of the whole scenario is distressing her.

[notguyfawkes]

"I know I did." He pauses and glances at Evey, cocking an eyebrow. "I suppose it worked?"

Sometimes I wake up and realise I've been crying in my sleep, and I have to dry my face with a towel.
