"John," she says, not quite smiling, not quite gently. "They say that each of those cuts fifteen seconds off your life."

John snorted and blew smoke at her, "Fifteen seconds less I have to spend with you. Come to spread your poison in a new place now?"

"You've made certain of that, no matter how many demons you send back to Hell," she says coolly, closing her eyes against the smoke. "It's not my poison." Gabriel smiles, softly. "It's theirs, for you."
