Oh, sure, she's met people here and there, struck up conversations, witnessed the occasional karaoke party, had the occasional ill-gotten alcoholic drink, but Polexia can't shake the feeling that she's terribly lonely here.  She hasn't really made too many close friends, has yet to run into anyone she knows (and she does wonder if some day, she ( Read more... )

Sam is taking a research break, and has found his own iPod, listening to it as he walks. He takes it out and pauses it when he sees someone, figuring that he should maybe start talking to people about this place, to see if someone knows anything different, though he does not have much hope.

"Hello there," he calls from a safe distance, so as not to startle her.

Sam smiles, taking the earphones off and placing them in his pocket. "Yeah, you just get it?" He walks over to crouch beside her, holding a hand out for it. "You're not being ignorant; it can be a little confusing at first."

Taking the opportunity for some alone time after putting Stewie down for a nap, Brian's decided to hit the pool for some sun. He's settling down in a pool chair with a pair of sunglasses, sandals, and tanning lotion when he notices Polexia. "Hi there, sweetheart," he calls. "Want to rub some sunscreen on my nose?"

... By the way, he is a dog, but not everyone seems to notice that.
