She’s already decided the place is worth sticking around awhile because of the free booze and food, not to mention the occasional hot guy. Moderately creepy invisible staff aside, this place has just about everything a girl

Andros winces and covers his ears as he walks into the lobby in search of the source of the noise. When he sees the karaoke machine he looks at it for a moment from across the room, and then as he makes a small gesture with his hand the volume knob slowly starts to turn by itself to lower the volume. It goes down to less than half of what it was.

"Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna-- Hey! What's the big idea, turning down my music, huh?"

"Don't you think it's a little loud?" He leans against the wall, still on the opposite side of the wall from the machine.

"I like loud." Her assumption is pretty much based on the fact that he's the only other one in the room. Hey, we never said she was logical.

Zhane is just staring, actually. And frowning.

This mostly has to do with the fact that he has a headache, and he misses a certain blond girl, and he still wants to catch a certain person.

He might relax eventually, though.

Polexia is not sure what to make of this, but it really amuses her.

She's just going to take a seat in the corner and watch for a while.

"We've known each other for so long," Tank Girl sings, sitting down at Polexia's table and setting her booted feet in her lap. "Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to saaaaay it... Come on, you know the words!"

"Actually... I don't," Polexia giggles apologetically.

"The hell is this?" Max heads into the bar and pours himself a drink, then flops down at a handy table. He takes a few gulps of beer and watches Tank Girl in amusement for a few minutes, then gets up to go inspect the karaoke machine curiously.

"Huh."

Saul's been drawn by the loud music and squints into the bar, laughing a little at the karaoke machine and pleased to see someone he knows. "Hey, man," he says, wandering up to Max in his usual cloud of smoke. Pointing to his beer, he asks "Any more of that shit?"

"Oh, yeah, at the bar, man." Max grins and gives him a nod. "Hey. What the hell is this thing?" He pokes at a few buttons on the karaoke machine. "Looks kinda like a jukebox."

"Karaoke machine." He passes his joint, eyeing the beer. "You never do that before? Just get up on stage and sing?"
