It's almost a curse. When your name is Zhane and you're a Silver Ranger, you always arrive either too late, or in the bare nick of time. Too late in this case, apparently.

"I'M HERE, CLAIRE. I'M OPENING THIS DOOR. WATCH OUT!"

He weilds the siverizer with deadly precision, and a moment later, he's removing her gag and her bounds....

Unfortunately, he's still wearing the Ranger helmet, though

It's not that she's not glad to see Zhane, but the sudden appearance of a Power Ranger in full battle gear is more than a little startling. "What the hell? What's the hell!"

Please don't mistake it for ingratitude, Zhane, it's just panic.

Shit. "Oh, damn it." He morphs back, in a swirl of power, and lifts a hand. "Sorry. I can't use the Silverizer without morphing. It's me, it's me. It's alright."

That display isn't exactly expected either, but she lets out a breath when she realizes who it is. "Zhane! There was a guy here, he had a knife, and he stole my face!" The face that she's wearing.

If Claire wanted to talk to a female friend, Genie will be available to spend some time with her as soon as is convenient to Claire's typist.

She's still confused, has however been sleeping more (though apparently not for long) and will be more than sympathetic, if freaked out.

Shilo thought she heard someone shouting, something about a face, and it gave her a chill. It reminded her of Pavi Largo, though it couldn't be him...right? Slowly she made her way towards where the yell came from, not sure she wanted to find anything.

Sorry, Shilo, but unfortunately, there is something there. The sight's likely familiar; it's not as if Ms. Wallace is unused to seventeen-year-olds covered in blood, though she might be a little surprised to see Claire wringing it out of her shirt onto the carpet.

Her eyes do widen briefly and she takes an anxious step forward. "Are you okay?"

"Kind of," she answers grudgingly, eyes narrowed. "Be careful, there's a crazy guy on the loose."

Warren didn't hear the scream, but he's around for either Claire or Zhane to run into if and when they need him.

Well, Andros may not see a dark and brooding Zhane, but Warren certainly will - because he's the first person Zhane is looking to see after having seen Claire to safety.

Her best friend needs to know about this.

Knock knock knock.

You've never seen Zhane like this, Warren. It's a guarantee. He's still bloody from his first hug with Claire. And reeling as well, but.

When Warren opens the door, he stares at him for a few moments before stepping back from the doorway. He's not about to have whatever conversation this is going to lead to in the hallway. He looks grim. "Come in."

Zhane comes in, extremely silent, and closes the door. "Something happened to Claire," he says, without preamble.

And Bruce, being Bruce, passes by and immediately goes to pick the lock of the door. "Claire, what happened?" he asks as soon as he gets the door open. "I need details."

"How long have you been standing there?" she exclaims as soon as she's out. "This guy tied me up and locked me in there, he slit my throat and cut off my face!"

"I was passing by and heard you shout." He gives her a quick once-over to check for any serious injuries -- yes, he knows, but it's always best to be thorough. "Any idea what he looked like?"

"Yeah, he didn't have a face. That's probably why he took mine."
