Link doesn't usually mind girls crying because of him, but it's usually because they're watching him on TV or see him on the street or something. He's not used to making them cry because of ... Anything else. It's even worse because he actually likes Tracy, and he wants to help her, but he's got to do what's best for him. Right? Right

Genevieve walks out of her room, actually, when she hears Link's question, and it doesn't take her long to make up her mind about what the situation is.

"Hello, are you lost?"

She figures it's the easy way to get him some answers. Thankfully, she's slept and she's not completely a mess, or completely exhausted as she's been for the whole week. She's still ridiculously confused, though.

She smiles, a little, almost blushes. "That's very nice, Link," she probably says Leenk, "I appreciate it very much. Do you want me to help you find your room?"

[council_crooner]

"That'd be great, thanks." He's glad, at least, that where he is there are nice people.

Genevieve gives him a pleasant smile, and peers over to his key. "Well, what room number is it?"

[council_crooner]

"Oh, right." He glances at his key and gives her the number. "Do you know where that would be?"

[genial_umbrella]

She tilts her head, and grins, "Oh, certainly. But we must take the elevator. It is that way."

[council_crooner]

"Okay." He's never really stayed in a hotel before, so he'll follow her lead.

[genial_umbrella]

She leads the way, then, and bites her lip a little as she walks. "So, hm, how old are you?"

[council_crooner]

"I'm eighteen," he replies, looking at everything as they walk. "Why?"

[genial_umbrella]

She tilts her head to the side. "I thought you were just a bit older," she explains. "I'm eighteen too. There are a few young people here. We help each other out. It's good."

[council_crooner]

"Sounds hip." He's used to having a regular group of kids to hang around.

[genial_umbrella]

They probably made it to the elevator, and so she hits the calling switch.

"It's fun. We watch movies together, sometimes." She smiles, a little. "And we protect each other."

[council_crooner]

He nods as he listens, then glances at her. "Protect each other? From what?"

[genial_umbrella]

"There are --- well, some crazy people, I guess I could say. One of them attacked my friend, and he said there were more around." She shudders a little.

She's referring to Ivy's attack on Warren.

[council_crooner]

"... Oh." It freaks him out a little. Link's not used to there be any sort of threats. He's pleasantly sheltered.

[genial_umbrella]

"I'm sorry." She swallows, a little. "So far, it's been alright. I mean - since that incident. And my friends are really strong. That's why we stick together, and help each other out."
