Bruce is, apparently, on the beach, and watching the new arrival carefully. It's not like he can't defend himself against a sword if he has to, but he's learned by now to be cautious. He catches sight of the blood and heads forward. "Do you need help?"

"Oh--no, thank you." She smiles, every inch a proud Japanese Lady though her English is fluent and without accent. "I'll be fine." No use in maintaining the arrogance here either, without her personal army to back her up it would be a bad and potentially dangerous idea.

"You're bleeding," Bruce says firmly. "You should get it seen to. I know a good doctor here."

"Well," she says, "in that case, that wouldn't be a bad idea." She moves more in his direction, giving him a self-depreciating smile.
