Wilson wanders by and stops at the sign. He stares at the room number for a couple moments. "Well, that's not *my* room number. So who are you picking on now?"
"Picking on someone? Moi? I am offended that you would even suggest such a thing." House gives Wilson his best innocent look -- which never fools anyone, but it's fun to pretend anyway.
"Cameron. She works for me, she gets to have clinic hours, too. I was going to send them to your room, but the point of diverting them was so I wouldn't be bothered. And since I'm in your room sometimes, too..." He waggles his eyebrows and gives Wilson a leering look.
House watches her hands instead of her face, eyebrows raised a little, "Not if you're going to be doing that the whole time. I don't need nervous nurses."
"Whatever. What's your name?" House rests his cane on the ground again, folding his hands over the handle and giving Joan an assessing look. "What experience do you have?"
A little head peeks around the doorway, and watches House interestedly as he twirls the cane. A few moments later Jamie is standing near House for a better look, his mother entering a few moments behind him. He grins. "Hi, House!"
House gives Jamie one of his rare smiles and ruffles the kid's hair, "Hey kid. What're you up to? If you're not making trouble, I haven't taught you well enough."
Jamie laughs and Nancy shakes her head, looking amused despite herself. "Oh, you've taught him well enough." She eyes the flyer before asking, "What are you up to now, Dr. House?"

He's still curious, though. "So, who is it?"

"Well," she says, wringing her hands in her dress as she turns to House. "I don't suppose you need a nurse?"

If possible, she stands a little straighter, holds her head just that much higher. "I assure you, sir, that will not be a problem."

"Free, huh? I'd take advantage of that if there were actually any use for money here."
