It wasn't every day that he heard someone call his name. Though at first he wasn't even sure it was him they were calling for. After all, there was two other Jacks about that he could recall. But he decided to investigate anyway... especially when he heard Teal'c's name mentioned.

Coming from upstairs he stops short seeing the kid. Who... yeah, this would be a confused General here.

Slinging his knapsack up over his shoulder Daniel had started ot walk across the lobby, this wasn't possible...there hadn't been any rings, no gate, nothing even to indicate that the Asgard might be involved, so, how did he get here. It was only as he started to pass a mirror on one wall that he stopped to stare at it in disbelief. He was a kid...what? He pushed the boonie back off his head so that it dropped against his back before pushing his hair off his face. This wasn't possible...

At the sound of Jack's voice Daniel turned, relief flooding his face.

"Jack, it's me, Daniel." He started toward him as he answered.

"What the hell happened? Is Teal'c here too?" He immediately found himself looking for the Jaffa, his own transformation temporarily forgotten.

Maybourne catches the name as he comes into the room and it gets his attention. He looks at the little boy curiously. "Teal'c?" he repeats. "Jaffa? About so high?" He lifts his hand over his hand.

Daniel turned at the sound of someone else mentioning the Jaffa.

"Maybourne? The boy's eyes widened as he saw the other thread and he immediately wondered if there was more to what was happening then just what had been in the chamber and on the glyphs.

"Hey!" Maybourne exclaims, waving to Teal'c in a disturbingly friendly sort of way. "Yeah, that's the one. Fancy meeting you here."

He grins. "Beats me. One minute I'm enjoying life as king, the next I'm here. And it's a nice hotel, but I have to say, it really doesn't compare."
