The Trakenite has been quiet lately. Blame the mun and her new job.

She's come down, though, to sit in the lobby with a cup of hot cocoa and a book of Shakespeare. She's quite comfortable but as lovely as William is? She'd not mind in the least if she were disturbed.

Ace wandered across the lobby, feeling restless but not having an idea of what she wanted to do. Might as well pester the locals, she decided.

"Comedy, tragedy, or poetry?" she asked the girl sitting on the couch, pointing to the cover of the book.

Nyssa shifted and smiled to the other girl. "Comedy, actually. I think I prefer the tragedies in terms of writing. His humour goes right over my head sometimes."

And in sweeps a flurry of movement, a flurry which ends with a Time Lord falling into the seat beside her.

"Met him, you know," he says, craning his neck to get a look at her book. "Nice fellow. Very friendly."

She smiles in delight when he settles beside her and she chuckles.

"Well of course you've met him. All sorts of brilliant men in women in earth's society and you take me to meet the one that wants to hang us." a pause. "Sir Isaac Newton, I mean."

He knows better than to ask -- timelines and all that (and besides, it sounds like something he'd do) and just pats her knee. "Now, now. Can't get everything right the first time." A patented Time Lord (tm) grin. "We could have another go at it."

She laughs. "Another go? What, leave the hotel on some grand adventure?"

Oh look! Someone Armand hasn't met before.

"May I bother you?"

"I daresay you'll find you can. If I would rather be alone I'd have stayed in my bedroom."

"Can you get cocoa in your room?" he asks, genuinely curious.

"I've not called for anyone to do so, but I suspect you could. The hotel seems to do anything you like."

"Is that cocoa with water or milk?" Turlough asks as he perches familiarly on the arm of her chair.

"With milk, of course." She smiles and looks up at him before offering him the mug. "Would you like a sip?"

"I would." He accepts the mug. "Sometimes when you make it with milk it can be too sweet." He sips. "But I should have known... you're already so sweet you don't make that mistake."

He offers her the mug back, careful not to spill it.

She watches him and chuckles, letting her fingers brush across his when he hands her the mug. "I find it's more rich when you use milk, but if you're careful..."

"How are you, Turlough?"
