Lucy wanders on off down the beach, frisbee under her arm, and Chance on a leash. When she gets far enough away that she doesn't think there's much of a risk of Chance (now a very large, still very exuberant eight month old puppy) knocking someone down, she takes the leash off and lets the frisbee fly

She beams; animals are something she misses when she's on the TARDIS (well, not now, with Dickens) and Earth animals are some of her favourites. "Is he friendly?"

As if to prove her point, Chance bounds over, dropping the frisbee, and starts sniffing around Susan. His tail's wagging so hard, his whole back end is wiggling with the excitement of meeting yet another new person.
