A few days earlier the Hotel was graced with a rather wet and ruffled naval officer. The officer that arrives today is soaked to the bone and even more ruffled. From what he can tell as he pushes himself up off of the sand he has simply washed ashore at this place

He straightens even more. "Captain Barbossa." A hand is moving to his pistol but he doesn't draw it out.

"That I am..." he searches for a name but can't remember. It's been a while.

"...You're supposed to be dead." He raises his brows and tries not to look bothered by the fact a dangerous pirate who had been dead is in fact...not dead.

And here's a former Commodore stopping and staring not entirely unlike he's seen a ghost. Although you think he'd be used to the dead coming back to life at this point.

".... Lieutenant?"

"... Commodore?" He straightens and comes to attention in respect as he notes the change in uniform. "Admiral...? I, ah. It's me."

"I see that, but... How?"

"...I don't follow, Sir." He tilts his head at his superior, just a bit before it tips back, straight. "What's...what's going on?"

The Lietenant can have a saucy-looking Tortuga wench who stares at him unapologetically.

He inwardly sputters and bows a bit. "Miss."

She drops a cursty. "Sir." With a smirk, she adds, "Have a pleasant arrival?"

"Unorthodox, certainly, but it could certainly be less pleasant."

All these uniformed and brine-soaked souls have finally gotten Harry's attention. He approaches the newest one, his hand out. "I say, old chap, you look the worse for the weather. Do you need a hand? I'm a doctor."

"The last I remember before arriving here the weather was rather terrible, so that's a matter of opinion."

A pause and he nods. "It may be wise, yes."

"Let me get a look at you. Does anything hurt?"

"Ah. It feels like I may have struck my head on something."

Here's Groves not-quite staring. "..Wes -- Gillette?"

"Andrew? Andrew Groves?" He tips his head at the man and smiles. "Got through the hurricane all right then?"

"Well, yes, but --" He's still boggling a bit. "--But you, er, didn't."

"So the former Commodore has told me. I'm content enough not to question that."
