Gordon really can't believe it took more than a week for him to realize he's been around here for longer than a year. The realization came rather suddenly, as he was showering and almost wistfully thinking of New York. And he won't be able to tell you why, but the thought makes him entirely too anxious. Sure, people have been here a lot longer

Roger wanders into the kitchen, having followed the tantalizing aroma of blessed caffeine. "Hey, Gordon, what's up?"

"Uh ... Not much. Want some coffee?"

"I'd love some," Roger answers, casually sprawling on a chair. "The stronger the better."
