And with more than a little ceremony, the next new arrival strides onto the deck. She's pretty and knows it and she walks with a confident swagger as she casts her head upwards, her hair cascading back along her dramatic red gown.

"Won't someone assist me?"

"....No. No, no, no, not you, I will not believe it!" Here, Musetta, have a scowly Marcello.

"And I suppose you will tell me you were expecting someone else?"

"I was hoping to be, yes." This is a sour look. "Anyone besides you, o ice-queen of Paris."

And here, Marcello, have a raucous laugh. "You intend to scathe me with your words? They only amuse me, nothing more. I am flattered by such a name."

Roger can't help but stare. "With - uh - what?"

"Ah come Monsieur, find me a chair and something to drink before I faint."

That would be her hello.

Roger is very tempted to say 'Yes, Maureen'. As it is, he frowns a little but fetches her a chair and a glass of water.

"There you go. You just got here, I take it?"

"Oh you're too kind," she says flippantly.

"It would appear so, and may I risk the question as to where here is? For I was on the streets of Paris, last I checked."

Rodolfo stops as he passes by.

"I'll question the faux later, though in the least now someone greets me in a more adequate manor."

"I pride myself in such things." He looks amused.

"I am glad that there remains a gentleman that does." A pause. "Tell me how is your heart now, does it strain still at the loss?"

"You need help?" Mark smiles politely and moves over to see how he could be of assistance.

"Ah good Monsieur you will help me? My legs are heavy and I might faint from the heat. All it would take is a good gentleman to lessen my woes." She curtseys a little, as theatrical as possible.

Oh wow, this woman is -- intense. But, being the Nice Jewish Boy he is, Mark has to help. He carefully takes her arm and leads her over to the couch, "Here -- sit. Do you need water or something?"

"Oh wouldn't you be such a darling for getting it. Water or something stronger, won't you be so kind."
