In honour of World AIDS Day, Mark has set up his projector and is showing, all day long, a movie he'd made a few years back about the AIDS epidemic in New York City. Olive sits in silence in a corner somewhere, unobtrusive, and not incredibly noticeable, watching with wide, alert eyes. By the end of the video, those eyes are filled with sadness, but she still doesn't look away.

Mark sat next to her and hugged her tightly, protectively, as though he could save her from the horrible truth of the world he came from. "You don't have to watch, honey..."

Dickon stands in the back of the room, leaning on his stick. He watches the video silently and attentively, aware of how serious it is from the tone but he understands very little of it. The disease, the drugs, the locations are so far out of his experience that were he to ask a question he wouldn't know where to begin. After a bit he quietly moves forward and picks up a pamphlet, but as he looks it over it quickly becomes apparent that it's just too difficult to read for someone with so little education.
