He sighed, "Of course, at the edge of insanity, zere is Freddy. Why, exactly, are you blind?"

"Because in Timbuktu there is an amazing doctor who can heal me but only if I can raise X amount of dollars. How are you? How's that girl? Where's Lawrence? Christine is here." He rambles, happily. "OH! And we're on a BOAT."

"Are we truly on a boat? I 'ad failed to notice zis, sank you for pointing it out." He felt a headache coming on. "So Lawrence is not the doctor in Timbuktu? I'm surprised. I thought he'd be with you and Christine."

"It really isn't," Roger remarked, amused. He'd been leaning against the railing, staring out at the horizon.

"I'm Roger."
