She has carefully wiped her mouth and is stashing the handkerchief back in a hidden pocket when the voice reaches her and she freezes. It can't be. "...Rapunzel?" She turns around and it can't be but it is, and she barely breathes as one long-nailed hand reaches out to just barely brush against the blonde hair.

She's about to move closer (because it's her mother, and she loves her, and....no!) when she remembers everything. The tower, and her prince, and the babies (oh no! where are the babies?), and the desert and everything, and she flinches at the Witch's touch, before scooting backwards.

Her hand twitches back in surprise when Rapunzel flinches and she slowly withdraws it, hurt in her eyes. "...You're afraid of me..."
