This is a good a time as any to reveal that Gwendal has returned to his normal age. He doesn't seem any more cheerful, but when is Gwendal cheerful anyway?
He recognizes the voice slightly before the form. He doesn't know Josak as well as Conrad did, after all. But he decides to see what Josak is up to without breaking his cover.
"That place," he says, nodding toward the Mansion, "needs a demolition squad more than it needs a maid."
"It's terrible," but he doesn't add any more details. "Although I don't think it has an owner, or at least not so far as anyone has admitted to knowing so far. If you want work, you'd be better off checking with people that have their own homes around here."
"Ah" he doesn't say any more, but his original plan has been altered. "And how about you? Do you live in one of these houses, or do you know anyone who does?" he's trying to find out where everyone they know is staying.
"How's things? You're very.... pretty!" He says with a teasing wink, just in case anyone is in range of hearing. "I haven't seen you around here before."
SHe giggles girlishly "Oh, everything's fine, as soon as I find a job, I'll be right as rain. Do you happen to know anyone who could use my services?" He's not asking about cleaning jobs, this time, but whether or not he's needed as a spy in this place.
Winks back, surprised at how many people are here, maybe he doesn't need to be disguised! But then, his plan is to find out as much as possible from the people here, and that would definately be easier if people didn't associate him with the other Mazoku.
In a stern voice she says, "I'll have a use for you later. When you finish.. mopping up, come speak with me." She then turns on her heel as if she'd been giving a real maid instructions, and walks off in search of other victims.
