A pause. "My name is Julia Angier. I had the pleasure once of viewing a demonstration in London."

"Mister Tesla. What brings you here, might I ask? I'm begining to think I'm being followed, what with the number of people I know finding this place of late."

"It seems that I have over stayed my welcome in New York as well. I've come seeking bording." He pause looking back over at his stuff on the lawn to make sure nobody had meddled with it. The man looks into Angier's eyes again. There's a sadness, a regret, a something in that man's eyes. He notes that his presence has reminded him of some painful memory. Tesla removes his top hat before entering the mansion.
"The machine did not produce the results that you wanted." He said quietly. It's more of a statement than a question.

There had always been more for him in London than in America, in spite of what was always told. The magician knew that now, but had discovered too late.
The statement was not expected in the least, and the man could not help but drop character for a fraction of a second before picking up his charming smile again. Ever the performer. "It worked marvelously, actually. And the audiences loved it, it was truly the grandest thing ever to grace the stage."
