The thing about having a whole wolf pack around is that there tend to be puppies. And the thing with puppies is that they tend to be curious. That's why a few of them have managed to sneak away from the adults and into the mansion to see what mischief they can get into.

Careful, though. They do still bite.

*--and the other thing about puppies is that they tend to be cute. and Arthur, unfortunately, likes cute things. this would be why he is currently leaning down and extending his hand for the little puppies to sniff. if this arm should end up covered in bite wounds, well, wouldn't that be a shame?* Look at you. I haven't had a dog since I was in high school.

*two of the puppies scamper over and sniff his hand curiously, they apparently decide they like what they smell because one of them decides that he would be fun to chew on, and starts gnawing happily on his hand*

*okay, so this isn't seeming like such a good idea anymore, and it's also probably bleeding, but with a couple of pained noises and maybe a choice expletive or two, he'll try (in vain?) to extract his arm* No-- okay-- no. Ow--

*that just makes the puppies go no, my toy, you can't have it! and both of them are now tugging at the hand because now it's a game*

Puppies! She's delighted and she'll sit down a ways a way to study the things. "Hi, puppies."

All little girls like fluffy things, even if said fluffy things are evil.

"Come here?" She'll hold her hand out some, in an invitation.

*a couple puppies trot over and look at her curiously, and then decide that her dress looks like it would be fun to tug on and start playing tug-of-war with the bottom of it*

And she'll gasp some and shoo at them. "No. This dress is new. Daddy got it for me."

But she'll offer them her hankie as a replacement?

*even better, the hankie isn't attached to anything so they aren't stuck where she's standing, so the puppies latch onto it and start tugging and gowling at each other*
