Now... this is odd. For the last thing Dorian Gray remembered was going to fetch the key to let Basil into the old schoolroom. And this... this was not the Gray household.

Where have I gotten off to...?

*here's a redheaded man, pale and ill-looking, but with something undeniably familiar about the vague smirk on his face and the movements of his hands as he lights a cigarette*

. . . Dorian. So you've seen fit to put in an appearance after all.

*it takes him a moment, but then...* Harry? Is -- that you? You look quite different from when I last saw you.

Well, you do keep away, don't you? *coughs, a rather discomfiting sound, and takes a long drag on his cigarette* And time and disease will do their work.

*smiles (he can't help but be pleased at that, though he'd rather not be)* It's good to see you, as well. It's been some time, hasn't it?

Entirely too much time. *will kiss him -- briefly, however, since they're in public* We must catch up.

*we're going to assume, for the sake of flailing simplicity, that Dorian is fairly recognizable in either incarnation -- so, however unfamiliar he is to Dorian, the look on Gavin's face is clearly one of (less than pleased) recognition* Um. Hello.

Have we been introduced?

Er . . . Sort of. Or not. It's -- complicated. *tries to think how to explain* Have you seen Henry Wotton yet?

"There really does need to be some sign at this place..." He grumbles before remembering his manners. "Hello. I am Wolfram Von Bielefeld."

Dorian gave a slight bow, "Dorian Gray. A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Von Bielefeld."

He is rather pleased by the respectful greeting. "Nice to meet you as well."

He sighed, looking around. "Can you not tell me where I am, exactly?"

Dorian...! *rather spacey smile* How wonderful to see you again... Henry will be so pleased...

Lady Wotton, yes? *another polite bow* I've -- seen him already, I believe.

Oh, yes, of course, but you know everyone simply calls me Batface...

Do they? That's quite unkind of them! Do tell me your husband doesn't call you that.
