Uh-oh. Fresh meat. Max though is ever helpful, and wings tucked in tight against her back she'll approach. "Hey there. I guess you didn't mean to end up here?"

Cho turns around quickly and smiles at the girl quizzically. "No, I was on my way home. And the way took me here." She shakes her head. "That's rather messed up, isn't it?"

"It happens all the time here." Max says with a shrug and a frown. "But it is messed up."

"I'm Maximum, and this--" she gestures about her "Is what we've generally all called "The Mansion"."

Shaking her head at forgetting her manners -again-, she extends a hand in a friendly manner. "Hi Maximum, I'm Cho."

Her eyes follow Max's gesturing and she whistles. "So, are there a lot of people here?"

Cho looks at the man in front of her with a confused smile on her face. "Yes? I'm sorry, have we met before?"

"I've met you, but not here. It must have been later. Welcome to the Mansion"

Cho smiles at him and nods her head. "Thank you. And you are...?"

Pansy comes from the upper level, moving a rather brisk pace. She spots Cho, giving the slightest of nods as she moves to the front door. She's never had any real issues with the Ravenclaw beyond house rivalry, and doesn't anticipate she will now.

Cho smiles and nods in return as she sees Pansy pass by. "Strange, it's like being back at Hogwarts," she mumbles to herself with a smile.

Rion sees the new arrival talking to some other people whom she recognizes as witches and wizards. The new girl must be a witch, then, she thinks. Should I approach her, or just watch?

Cho sees someone in the corner staring at her. "At least the people are friendly here," she reminds herself quietly. "Things could always be worse." She gives them a warm smile smile and a small wave.

Rion waves back and returns the smile. She is normally this shy, but she's had to break that previously in order to take her notes. However, that has not been among so many people.

Being somewhat shy herself, Cho cocks her head to the side and debates on whether she should approach the girl or not.

"Oh! Um, yes, yes I am. I mean I'm lost, not that I need help. But thank you for your gallant offer... um... good sir." By his speech and dress, it didn't take much for Cho to realize he was one of the 'historical figures' she'd heard about. She does her best attempt at a curtsey and smiles. "My name is Cho Chang."

*boweth* I am Polonius, Lord Chamberlain to His Majesty the King of Denmark. In truth I know not how I should help thee, for I myself have not been long in this place but already I am plagued by miscreants.

Typist: cue Fred? ;)

Fred sneaks up behind Polonius. "Miscreants?!" He says loudly behind the aging man. "We're nothing of the sort. We're the gentlest lambs you ever saw."

"He may or may not be lying to you," George chuckles. "Awww, come on old man, you're not still bitter about that whole setting-you-on-fire thing, are you?"

"Is that why you haven't been around? Cause I must say, I have been looking for you, high and low."

"Probably because he wanted to set you on fire again."

"Mainly because I wanted to set you on fire again." Fred shrugs and grins. "You've got to admit, it was rather fun. Well, it was for me anyways."
