Engagement Party

The day has come! Georgiana flits about nervously, as this is the first gathering of any sort that she has put together all by herself. Had she done everything right? Would anyone even show up?

"S-somebody ought to," she says to herself, wringing her hands. "'Twas a-an open invitation, after all."

Peter is definitely not late for his own engagement party, that would be silly. As it is, though, he's sneaking up behind Georgie and wrapping his arms around her waist.

Georgiana jumps, startled--until she realizes who it is.

"Pray," she answers, in a teasing voice, "I know not who you are, sir, but I must ask that you kindly remove your hands from me. My fiance would be most displeased."
