It is possible they could be used for storage, however I was enquiring as to their purpose purely to find out what manner of person would be the one doing the living in.

My husband has complained of too many rooms in our house so there are indeed rooms available - to the right person anyway. I would prefer not to have anything like riff-raff living in my home. You can't be too careful.

I had thought that for storage one would use a plothole; in this place, at least.

I would be the one doing the living in. I like to come across people when 'tis my wish to do so, not theirs. Considering that in another thread I've been modded into Evil Villains Anonymous.
