For he reminds her of the Count - not in appearence, for in that they are very different - but in his way of moving, of speaking, for this is an old, slightly aristocratic vampire who is used to what he is. She is reminded of the Count the way she saw him that first time, when Jonathan panicked. Her voice therefore is flat* How is it possible that I have no need to be afraid of a vampire?
