The Lotus is passing by, on its way to the shed where it's been sheltering, speeding for the sheer fun of it, and you wouldn't think a car had a sense of smell; but somehow, as the spring air filters through--
--suddenly it's long-legged, human-shaped, and, entirely off its balance, it pitches forward into the grass.
It rolls over, with a growl in the back of its throat -- still sleek, dark, sexless, and elegant, though less of the latter at the moment -- and blinks at her. "I think I hit a pothole," it rasps.
Also, luckily for Dionysus, far away from him. A human Ed may be smaller and not as toothy as the usual version, but he is still huge, still scarred up, and still not anyone you'd want to meet in a dark alley.
Nita is, let's say, heading across the grounds in pursuit of Kit. She's enough of a red-blooded twentieth-century American girl to be a bit unnerved by this apparition, but she nods to him politely.
"Sprat," Ed says, slightly shaky but otherwise getting control of the new form surprisingly quickly for someone who'd been wearing the other one for centuries. "How do you smile with these facial muscles?"
*honestly, Huan is humanified often enough that he's practically accustomed to it by now, and hardly differentiates anyway*
*and so, when he has been prowling happily through the grounds, and suddenly finds the scent of Dionysus' vines significantly duller, himself on two legs and sporting rather less fur, he only shrugs with his free-hanging shoulders and continues on his way*
