...my apologies! I hardly meant to bring up such a sensative subject. We'll pick a day with less connected to it.

You still have not gotten away with not answering my question, Mr. Lupin. I wish you to tell me why you didn't want to tell me the answer.

Wait, what question? I'm sorry, Athena, but I don't remember a question. *confused* Perhaps I missed it?

What the word 'gay' meant, other than happy. I went and asked Grantaire like you suggested, he told me, then I went back and wanted to know why you sent me off to ask him. I was expecting something truly horrible, and it was merely a new synonym for homosexual. *prods again* Why were you so hesitant to explain it to me?

*monotone* Felicitations, sir.

I do not congratulate and mean it unless Aronnax and I appear to be able to enjoy the same happiness.

Oh, come now, Captain! Such a lack of enthusiasm is bound to be bad luck. *smiles* Not that I believe in such things, of course, but there's no reason to be so flat. They seem good for each other.

My congratulations, to the both of you! May you have long and happy lives.

(You could make a donation to one of your causes in their name for a gift, if that would make you feel better about it...?)

So we they do, Professor, so they do.

(Perhaps I shall do so. That seems to be a very reasonable and wise suggestion, sir.)
