Bonjour tout le monde!

It's been some time since I have been here... And now I have a new girl typing for me, a new group of... well, of acquaintences, I suppose, with whom to share her, and an entirely new journal as well. *bright smile* Just the same, I am the same old me, the same Musichetta. ...well, not the same old Mus ( Read more... )

*clasps her hands melodramatically* O, Monsieur Courfeyrac! How I have pined for thee, in the dark, lonely hours of the morning! *laughs* How are you, m'sieur?

*presses the back of her hand to her forehead in the classic 'Woe!' pose* Courfeyrac riddles very prettily! Alas, dear friend, if I am to blame for your sad condition, I am truly sorry! Being not but residue can't be very comfortable. Is it difficult to get around as a patch of grease, hmm?

*smooths her skirt a little to look more ladylike* *in French* You are from France, too, Mme.? That is where I was born! Do you know Mme. Cosette? I have met her here and she is a very fine lady, just like you are. And do you know M. Courfeyrac? He is a very fine gentleman. And he is French, as well! It is very nice meeting people here who speak my language. At Thornfield where I live with M. Rochester only my nurse and my governess speak French. I much prefer to speak in French, but I am learning English! Soon I shall be able to speak it quite well... *chatters on a bit*

*laughs, and speaks in French* Yes, dear, I am from France. I've had the pleasure of meeting Mme. Pontmercy... she is, as you say, a fine lady - perhaps a bit too fine, mm? And M. Courfeyrac! Of course, I know them all. I wouldn't have used the word 'gentleman' to describe him, though...

*waves back, smiling* Bonjour, you ridiculous, ugly, filthy sot! How are you? Drunk or hungover?

*flutters eyelashes* Oh, dear 'Chetta, you charm me so well. I fear I may swoon from the mere tone of your voice. *grins* With me, it's either one or the other, so I'll say slightly hungover. *bows wobbily*

*rather - shall we say, quite - irritated because of a certain fic...*

*sharply* I would say both. You look near to toppling over, you disgusting sot, and when's the last time you washed? How long have you been wearing that shirt? If you cannot take care of yourself, at least have the goodness to find someone else to do it for you!

Well -- yes, earlier, and, talking, and you and such, and was rather bold but it was fine, and we supposed it was just all right --

...Um. Haha. Yes! Yes, hallo. *smiles*

Musichetta, ma fille! I am so pleased to have you back, you've no idea how much I have missed you, votre voix, votre cou, vos mains.. everything, you see. 'S been lacking in beauty and somewhat terrible without you 'round.

*laughs brightly, and throws her arms around him* Ah, mon joli! Without me, the world is dark, I am sure, and drear. Kiss me, cher?

Mm, 'f course it is, as where would I be without your bright, smiling face whenever I am plagued and alone? --But oh, gladly. *pulls her close and kisses her lips*

*smiles happily, closing her eyes and kissing him back* *drawing back for a moment, she says,* Without my bright, smiling face, cher, you'd be forced to find someone else's for illumination! Or, perhaps, even light a candle?
