I'd say slightly more than half full.

*examines glass closely* It's a bit less than half full, I think... the glass gets bigger at the top, and it's only full about halfway in height... Then again, I suppose you wouldn't normally fill it to the very brim, so it's over half of what you'd normally put in it.

*blink* ...why do you ask?

The water takes up half the volume of the glass (Or let's pretend it does) and how you state this fact is supposed to tell you something about what kind of person you are.

I'm told that since I see it as half empty, I'm a pessimist. I say I'm a realist.

Oh...... Well, I'm trying to be positive about things... Half full, then? It's hardly a very accurate test. Thank you for explaining anyway.

I agree most whole-heartedly with your reasoning, miss.

It looks half full to me, sir!

*looks at Charlie. Not unkindly, but perhaps a little tiredly. Optimistic youths were never his strong point*

It would.

*looks confused and a little sad* If it's not too forward of me, sir, may I ask what brought this on?

*is surprised*

Just curiosity I guess. It's a simple (and, as it has been pointed out, not very accurate) way of finding out about a person's personality. I wanted to see what the other people in the Mansion thought.

It is completely full - one half of water, the other half of air.

Ahh...your answer is very well thought out, Jareth.
*Is impressed*

It is not at all half-full. However, your observation of whether or not the glass had been filled is an admirable one.

...It's half -- ...half.... half empty -- wait! It's....wait, it's half-full, because.... because if there's.... wait, but if it was drunk, then that would mean it's less than it was before... But if someone just...poured... wait...

...Oh, good heavens, I'm no good at logic.
