What a lovely question! Well, let's see... I'm rather fond of gardenias, and I just say that because I'm rather horrible with decisions and wouldn't know what flower I am! I have a pot of gardenias, you see, and they're quite important to me. I overwater them, and I really don't mean to, and I'm so sorry every time I do. I hope they'll be all right... But -- but, um, yes. :)

*blushes in embarrassment* I'm so sorry; I didn't mean to be rude! I'm Jehan. I mean -- Jean. Prouvaire. Er, haha, it's so lovely to meet you, Mlle Fleurette. You have such a lovely name.

I don't think the flower I am exists on your world, young lady. What flower do you believe I am?

An orchid? I've only heard of them but they are very exotic.

Thank you for the compliment, but I don't think I'm one of those at all. I'm not from Earth, and, well, you don't know any names of my homeworld's weeds.

Does it have to be from your world?

I-- I would like to be four-o-clocks, I think. They were mother's favourite, she always said. She called them 'pretty-by-night's.

Mother doesn't garden anymore. I miss it.

Those are nice sturdy flowers. Easy to find.

Is your mother ill?
