How can you be a princess and a queen?

Because Meara and Gwynedd are different countries. I'm the princess of Meara because my mother is queen of Meara, but I'm the queen of Gwynedd because I'm married to the king of Gwynedd. I could still inherit my mother's throne, so I'm still a princess, but I'm a queen too.
