Tell me, what do all of you do when your recorders aren't at one of these computers? Mine spends time playing these strange things called video games and writing stories, as well as working a job. Thankfully, she spends most of her time on the Internet, letting me 'come out and play', as the saying goes.

What I'm trying to get at is, wonderful, ( Read more... )

My typist is nearly always rehearsing a play of some sort, and when she is not she's doing schoolwork. Or so she claims. I never see her get any of it done.

She seems to think of me as an idealist rather than the cynic most people take me for, and says that my theories are actually somewhat naïve. She also seems to believe that I am not such a cad as I present myself to be. This is, of course, entirely untrue and I would be most pleased if you would all ignore her.

Why would we? She's proven she's the smartest bit of you!

My recorder wants to know if you've read the parody of your story that is present in a book called The Five-Minute Illiad. I detest this book - the author makes great fun of the entire war!

You don't seem like a cad to me, if I may say so.

I have not had the pleasure of reading this book, but I shall have to seek it out now.

I assure you, madam, your thoughts on the matter may change as you get to know me.

My typist is rather addicted to writing... and she is always complaining about her miserable job.

Apparently she just wrote a rather large paper about me for a class, so she let me come out and play help with that. Usually I just rattle around making snide comments, until she decides to let me out.

My long-hand writer admits to this as well, although as of late, she informs me, she has been without parchment. This of course makes the task a bit difficult to accomplish, yet she manages nonetheless.

When she isn't writing, she finds herself studying at a University in the Americas, in the most outrageous place of California. I fear for her sanity.

My typist is a bit of a slave to his job... when he's not doing actual work on the cars he very much enjoys being in his office and letting me out in this lovely place. And getting him drunk, although fun is not a good idea, as I seem to come tumbling out then and usually when it is less than convienient.

My typist actually tends to let me out (and the others who share space in her head) most often while she's at work. She's really very irresponsible, though she calls it "bored".

I see descriptors of me in her head such as "mysterious" and "intriguing" but I cannot say why. I'm really a very simple man.

You are lucky. Mine seems to prefer keeping us locked up until we're 'safely at the computer, where no one will think I'm nuts', whatever that means, or she has a notebook and records our conversations.

I don't believe my typist understands such a thing as "life away from the computer".

*snicker Mine would be the same way, except that she is often forced away from it and into 'real life', as she says.

I seem to becoming addicted to it as well.

My long-hand writer attempts to. But fails sadly.
