Oh, dear. I suppose this is a rather silly thing to ask, but...

How do you know you're in love? Or how did you? And what did you do about it? I'm curious about other people's experiences, you see, as I've very few of my own.

As long as you do, dear child.

It's a feeling like... like something that had been missing has been restored, but you hadn't even realized 'twas gone until you had it again. And when they, the person, are away from you, you want nothing more than to be in their arms again. And when you're in their arms, you feel that nothing could possibly go wrong, and you would be content to say there forever, and... *sighs dreamily*

Oh, dear. *frankly thinks this sounds a bit disturbing and unpleasant*

*pats* I take it this is rather a 'at once' sort of understanding, then?

Well, I wasn't asking you in particular, my dear.

*snuggles* How's that lady of yours?

Oh, I know. Mmph.

...*Blink* How'd you find out about that?

*agrees with what Mme. Pontmercy said* It's as if you finally found that missing half of yourself when you didn't even know it was gone before and now suddenly *everything* makes so much more sense.

Hmmm... Thank you, dear.

*hugs and smiles* How's the pregnancy going? Are you feeling well? It's not my realm, so I haven't asked, but I am curious. I hope everything is good.

I think you just know. If you have doubts then you're probably not really in love. Similar to what others have said already - you feel lost and alone if that certain person isn't near you and you feel like everything's perfect when they are there with you. It's not easy to explain but when you are in love, you'll just know it.

And what did I do about it? Well, right now I'm fighting to prove to others that I'm not just being blinded by love and putting my trust in the wrong place.

*frowns thoughtfully* It all sounds awfully uncertain, though. And not at all what the married men and women I've talked to say it's like.

*hugs* Good luck, dear.

*beams* How did I know? I saw her in a park..it was like I was struck by lightning, like the heavens opened up. I couldn't keep my eyes off her..something that was missing my life had been found. *dreamy sigh* What did I do about it? ...I..followed her. Tried to find where she lived, tried to speak to her. I finally did..and found she loved me as well. My angel...*dreamy look*

*hugs back, because who is Marius to deny a hug?*

Oh! *smiles* Thank you, madame. *bows and glances up the thread at Cosette* She really is wonderful.
