You're more than welcome, Captain Sherston. *almost beaming* He was the closest friend I Ever had, sir. And a fine officer and poet. Best man I could Name.
Hallo, there, captain! I'm sure you're not boring at all. You were in the army! I'm sure you've a story to tell. My name is Kitty Butler. Nice to meet you.

Bonjour, Monsieur! I am very pleased to meet Monsieur, pleased indeed! *beams* English gentleman are so wonderful. I'm Monsieur and Madame Fogg's valet, but if I can assist Monsieur in any way while he's here, of course I shall.
Oh, it is lovely to make your acquaintance, M. Sherston! I'm Jehan Prouvaire; Jehan is fine. :) <-- it's a smiling face!
Oh, I know what you mean by "relief" when it comes to wars, and fighting. It's really a pity that so many of us have experienced the horrors of fighting. I am glad that you have been relieved of that time in your life..and I do hope you will enjoy it here. :)
Pleased to meet you Mr. Prouvaire... Jehan, I mean. *shy, easy smile*
It's the stupidest and most wasteful endeavor I can think of, war. Near as I can tell, only a dirty swindle and a crime. So, yes, I'm glad it's over, and I do think I will enjoy myself here. Thank you.
