(sits, good half facing everyone) Greetings, I am Hel, daughter of Loki. I have decided to join you all here, as my city gets quite dull at times. Hopefully I can meet some new people here and drag them back to my villiage to make them my slaves.

Hello, Hel! I hear tell your neck of the woods (or Underworld, as it were) isn't all that dissimilar from ours.

Ooou, do you have skulls for cobblestones? That's my favourite part. And apparently you all have a hellhound too? Perhaps Garm and your beast could have a playdate one day.

No, our PR people got rid of the skull cobblestones a while ago. They said that though "doom and gloom" is core to the underworld's sense of being, we needn't make it superfluous (save in Tartarus, where "doom and gloom" doesn't quite sum it up). I good choice, I'd say. The Underworld serves more purpose than just shacking up the legions of the dead.

As for hellhounds, oh, we have several. You're probably thinking of Cerberus, and that's Hades' big stinking mutt. Drools everywhere, simply impossible to do anything with. I myself have shadowhounds which are much more elegant and lower maintenance. Hardly have the doggy smell at all!

"Subjects" ... is that that what you refer to your trollops as these days?!

I think the Huns were a bit further south, Daddy.

I think it's simply adorable that we have another pantheon being represented, even if it isn't one as great as mine.

Don't be ridiculous, everyone knows the Norse gods are superior.

Ha! Puh-leaze! Couldn't hardly even begin to keep that Loki in check. Plus does your love god get his job done with such ease? *smirk*

Hello indeed. Judging by your name we have very similar personalities... we may just get along.

Oh... hello. I suppose when I'm in my more Scandinavian aspect you're my daughter? Hmm. (Well, I am Loki, sort of, only the German 19th-century version.) I may not be exactly the father you're expecting, or are used to, good grief, this is awkward, but welcome, anyways, and you will always be assured a place at my hearth.

...Even Brunnhilde was scared of you.
