Yes, but I did learn my lesson, and managed to redeem myself in the end.

Well! It is certainly a pleasure to meet you, M. Majere. You seem very...accomplished. :) <-- it's a smiling face!

I hope you will enjoy it here even if you don't like people. I'm Jehan Prouvaire; pease call me Jehan.

Elves annoy me.

Then maybe it's a good thing my current form is human instead of elven, though taking an elven form is something of a work-related hazard given that Valinor tends to have a lot of them there.

On further thought, most living creatures annoy me. But I'm sure the elves of your world are different from mine, so perhaps they are better.

I suppose you are on a work holiday as your beautiful wife is?

Given that I am somewhat familiar with the nature of your world (I have a headmate from akindred world to yours, though she will not be joining this community, she's a computer game character foremost) I do believe there are some variations between the elves I know and those you would be familiar with.

That is the general phrase we have both been using.

Indeed, because you are fascinating and because you need to lighten up a little, I propose a toast to getting drunk. Here, have a Gargle Blaster.

Thank you, but I must decline. I get drunk far too easily and do not want to make a fool of myself.

Isn't that the whole point, really? *raises glass*
