In the common room, Aredhel is sitting and sowing something, quietly. She has been working on getting baby things ready - she is only halfway through her 12-months pregnancy, but her belly is heavily visible, round and protruding through her dress like a well-done little bun.
She smiles to herself, sings, softly. There is something in her heart

Rubbing his forehead, looking tense, and tired, and kind of borderline unhappy, but he brightens a bit on seeing her. "Irisse," with relief, and he comes over to drop into a chair next to her.

She pats the seat next to her, gently. "There is something I should tell you."

No, she's happy to see him, and it's visible.

"Hello, there!"

She isn't aggressive in the least, though. Only very decorous, as is required both of her station and of her education.

He's currently carrying a sword. Currently, his skill is not using it. Currently, he's changing that. This can be seen in the awkward turtle way he's holding the thing in his left hand.
Seeing the happily pregnant woman being both happy (!) and pregnant (!!!)-- a rarity in Westeros, where you're as likely to die at your wedding as in a fight-- he looks somewhat less grim. Jaime hates training, hates being reminded of his deficiency with the sword since he lost his hand.
So he lingers in the common room, happy to be near a happy person for a while.

Aredhel certainly notices the one-handed swordsman, and the vision reminds her powerfully of Maitimo. Here, a disgression about her frienship with her oldest half-cousin probably would be helpful: she adores Maedhros in just about every way, and has missed him a great deal in the past six months.
She does notice the lingering (is it some sort of interest?) - and without looking up from her work, with a smile that is visibly amused, she says, "Good sir, if you had a mind to greet the lady, doing so would not be terribly out of place, I assure you."
She's in a good mood - and that always means teasing will come forth.

Because Jaime is a master of composure, he coughs loudly in surprise (it masks far less dignified noises, like, say, a squeak), and sheaths his sword. He dips his head in a light bow.
"You must excuse me, my lady; out of all my siblings, I recieved the fewest manners as blessing." Which is true, but only just, and most often because he is frequently too lazy to be interested in ceremony. "Ser Jaime Lannister." And as always, he waits for the curse of 'kingslayer' to echo into the room.

"Lady Aredhel Ar-Feinel, daughter of Fingolfin, Ser." Her hand gestures to the couch as an invitation. "Do you wish to sit?"
