Mildmay hadn't really moved from his room after that awful night when he collapsed, being reluctant to encounter Phedre after whatever it was that made him tell her all those things either, but he's also not eaten, and he has to do that eventually. When he gets to the kitchen he picks up a cookie to eat while he looks around

"You ain't like regular hocuses, are you?" At least he doesn't seem afraid of Felix anymore. It's hard to be afraid of a guy who reminds you of yourself.
"I seen witchhunts, and all the hocuses I ever heard of ain't very nice." To put it mildly. But Felix hasn't done anything to hurt him yet or even yelled at him except when he first walked in. Which reminds him... "How'd you know my name?"
The boy flinches at the correction so like Keepers, and ducks his head a little. He can't help it. After a minute he peeks up at Felix to see if he's going to answer.
"Somebody tell you?" He figures it's probably someone really dangerous for a hocus to be too scared to talk about it, and eventually that leads back to Keeper.
"No...no," He says, more firmly, and almost wants to say that Kolkhis won't touch him now, half opens his mouth, and closes it. "It's - it wouldn't make any sense."
