Enters a young woman, a young woman whose face is mottled with red birthmarks all over one side, and one hand as well. She has a book and a set of inks under one arm, a few brushes tucked carefully into the sash of her dress, and a handful of papers; and a very determined look.

"My lady! Lady Saren! I'm here."

She might come across a white leopard, lounging lazily in one of the corridors, on a windowsill. The beast does not mover or hiss when Dashti comes along, but rather looks at her with mild interest.

"Hello, lady," Dashti says, very politely, because she has a lot of respect for animals.

"Ain't no lady," the leopard replies. "But hey to you too. You lost?"

It's not really a grumble, but almost. Anita hates to be called lady - no matter what her shape.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Talking animals is new. "I'm looking for my lady, is what I'm doing."

Here's a very amnesiac and confused Steerpike. He doesn't even know what his name is - or rather, which name is his.

He turns around and looks at the girl with a mild air of surprise.

"I don't suppose you're talking to me, aye?"

Dashti chuckles. "You don't look like a lady to me, my lord."

He looks at himself. "No, and I am not, but in these parts, anything is possible." He grins at her though - she's different from anyone he's ever met.

"That's true for certain. I guess I got here by mistake." She grins back at him.

There's no need to rush like that - if she's here, whoever she is, there's nowhere else for her to go, and, if she's not, then you won't find her.

"I don't want her to get scared that I haven't come to find her," Dashti says, very politely.
