A royal entrance...... NOT.

She's outside, taking a walk.  She'd disappeared in the midst of time, and here she is again, and she vaguely remembers having travelled by this lake, vaguely remembers this place, though she wishes, in truth, that her Lord be at her side, or his trusted knights, mayhap.

It's a shuddering Guinevere who comes by the Mansion, and knocks on the door.

Lucivar comes out of a room a few doors down and stops short, quickly clearing his face of the annoyance and worry. "Looking for someone, Lady?" The wings rustle, unfold a little and refold, since it's too narrow of a hallway to really stretch them.

She pauses at the call. "Lord?" She squints and freezes, but the man speaks kindly, and the Mansion is a strange place.

"My Lord, is who I seek, good sir. Hast thou not seen my king?"

"Which king?"

Lucivar shifts a little. That word is still weird to him.

She can't believe there might be more than one.

"King Arthur, of Camelot, good sir. Hath not seen him lately?"

Jaenelle is coming up the stairs looking distracted, and hence nearly runs into Guinevere. "Oh - oh, I'm sorry," she says quickly with an apologetic little smile. "I should have been watching where I was going..."

"No, no, it's my fault, truly," she apologizes in turn. "I was distracted. Pray naught be distressed."

Jaenelle blinks, starts to apologize, then almost laughs. "I suppose we both should have watched where we were going. But I don't think I recognize you?"

She might look just a little bit offended, but so very little.

"I've only just return'd, Lady. I am Guinevere, Queen of Camelot."

He's fully dressed, at least, but she's blocking the hallway. "Excuse me," he says, roughly, before noticing her dress, a smile flickering over his face. "On your way to a Renaissance Faire?"

"Nay, good man, but to see my King," she says, looking at him shyly under her eyelashes. "Hast thou not seen him this morn?"

A blink. "....yes?"

"Thou hath!" She is over joyed. "Pray tell, where art the royal chambers?"

Felix is fuming quietly, still horny a little frustrated with the lack of straight answers, but he appreciates beauty, and someone who looks like they might have some weight. He sweeps an elegant bow. "Madame, if you would excuse me...?"

"Aye, lord, t'is no matter," she says, blushing at the man who seems so strong, so angry.

He offers her a charming smile, easily. "My thanks. If you could perhaps tell me what this place is and how I've found myself here...? I fear many have not been...forthcoming."

This means you, Cyrano.

"Nay, Lord," she says, "T'is the Mansion, so I know. But more is to be asked of my lord husband, mayhap, or his counsel."

"My lady!" And there, finally, is a familiar face of sorts, a cheerful Orkney princeling who's conveniently forgotten all that his cousin told him about his own demise. He comes forward, smiling, and bows.

"Sir Florence!" She smiles, closes the distance with more cheer and less shyness than might be expected. At least, a knight is here.

"T'is been a while since thou'st been at court, good knight."

"Ay-- I suppose so." A little awkwardly, because, of course, he's been here.

"Aye, so it is, Sir, so it is, and you were missed. Hath seen the King, mayhap?"
