Things have been downright dull in the Mansion since the plothole left--except for that extremely entertaining escapade with the apples, nothing has even remotely interested the gentleman with the thistle-down hair

Gaheris' luck is never good at the best of times. We can't even imagine what it will be like now.

Cimorene's luck has consisted of her last sack of sugar bursting. They can use honey, but there's not really enough yet, so she's up at the Mansion in a foul mood looking for some.

And he is running errands for his cousin. He stops and looks awkwardly at Cimorene when he nearly crashes into her.

"Damnation, Gaheris!" as she manages to avoid the collision. Once he stops she does too, and exhales. "...sorry."

Caliban's whole life has kind of been a string of bad luck. So far this morning, though, it's been exceptional. He's slipped down some stairs, cut his finger, stubbed his toe, burnt his fingers and is feeling dizzy and hungry from a distinct lack of food.

So even more than usual he is slouching around looking pissed off and nursing rather painful fingers.
