One might be able to see a little German girl, cheerier than she's been in ages, attempting to decorate the place with daisy chains, even daring to put a few flowers in her braids. It's a dear friend's birthday, you see, and she wants to make it a nice one

Wendla is surprised, to say the least, when she walks in to find Martha hanging a sign. She's even more surprised when she realizes that the sign is for her.

"Oh my goodness... Martha..."

She finally manages to pin the last corner and hops down from her chair. "Hallo!" says Martha, stretching her arms out. "It's not very much..."

"No, no. It's lovely! Thank you!"

And then Martha is promptly attacked with a hug.

She laughs and hugs her in return. "Would you like a daisy crown?"
