She stumbles into the garden as if she'd fallen from somewhere else, and scrambles quickly to her feet, her hair wild around her, a butterfly net clutched in one hand. Then she stops and looks at the garden, her dark eyes cautious

Ooooh, she has got a butterfly net. This is Palomides's most interested look. "What winged fauna have you been capturing with that particular apparatus?"

"Mr. Stein puts them in glass cases and labels them."

[sir_palomides]

"But in the gentleman's absence ...?"

[mestika]

"Are you able to do it?"

[sir_palomides]

He clears his throat. "Yours truly certainly could do so--"

[mestika]

"Yes?" She looks eager.

[sir_palomides]

"If we could find a card, and pins."

[mestika]

"I will find these things."

[sir_palomides]

"Assuredly." He swishes the net again. "Before we catch butterflies, or after?"

[mestika]

"Before, so you shall have them."

[sir_palomides]

"Very well." He gestures for her to accompany him back to the Mansion.

[mestika]

Which she does, moving swiftly along on her bare feet, her long skirts swishing.

[sir_palomides]

Palomides isn't exactly certain where one finds cards and pins in the Mansion, being new to the place himself--but he reasons that, if he simply opens enough cabinets, eventually he will find some. Thus, he engages in very businesslike, collected cabinet-opening as soon as they have reached the main room.

Jewel follows suit, moving around him to make sure everything is thoroughly searched.

[sir_palomides]

Should one or the other of them stumble upon the plothole cabinet, there will be both cards and pins!
