Lestat just happens to open the door, upon seeing the person standing there his jaw drops slightly. He stares a moment, then closes the door. After another moment he opens it again, Louis is still standing there.
"Hello there." He says politely after yet another moment, though he is still somewhat bewildered.

"That is me, always the gentleman." Grinning, he moves from the doorway so that Louis may enter. "In truth I was quite surprised to see you when I opened the door, though you may have already guessed that little detail."

And because someone who's not an Anne Rice character will have to meet him eventually, Helen looks up as he passes by and goes very still. She can't be certain, as he's a different flavor nosferatu than she's encountered... but the two small puncture wounds on her neck throb a bit under her scarf.

Lucivar is leaning against a tree, watching Louis's approach. He shifts, imperceptibly, and waits for the echoes of the doorbell to fade, then speaks.

"You don't need to do that, you know. It's open."
